We work with homeowners and interior designers to create the perfect custom sofa. Start from a picture or design it from scratch. Our talented team of artisans will use only 3rd-party certified organic and sustainable materials to create a custom sofa that is kind to people and the environment.
BRING AN OLD PIECE TO LIFE WITH REUPHOLSTERY
To bring new life to your treasured piece, we fully strip it down to the bare frame (if it is worth saving) and rebuild it using our natural and organic materials. Then we make sure the spring system is perfect, rebuild the edge with manila hemp and add layers of organic cotton batting, before we cover it with our local felted wool for fire retardancy. The base underneath the seat cushion gets the same treatment.
We rebuild the cushions using organic Dunlop latex wrapped in certified organic wool from Germany and build the cushions with locally processed Cheviot and Dorset breed wool filled with kapok. All covers underneath the upholstery fabric you choose is organic cotton/hemp muslin. All flat and wooden parts of the chair or sofa are covered in felted wool. And finally, we upholster the piece in the eco-friendly fabric of your choice.
